Biography
Tomas Novotny was born in Prague, Czech Republic in 1975. He grew up in a bilingual household, speaking both Czech and English fluently. After completing his studies in linguistics at Charles University in Prague, he began working as a language teacher and translator. It was during this time that he realized the need for high-quality language-learning materials for Czech learners.
In 2005, Novotny published his first language-learning book, "Czech Made Easy". The book was an instant success, and Novotny went on to publish several more books in the series.
